Painting & Decaling the Northerner

This long weekend see's the Trackgang's 56' carriage set currently painted in a basic red get an overhaul & general tidy up. And having recently designing the steam heat van I came across many colour pictures of the northerner train which inspired a rather impulsive painting spree.

The stripe appears to be 

The DL class is not prototypical...

Still a bit unsure about the stripes, perhaps a bit thicker.. to late now

A rather nice shot I thought.

    Hi Peter good effort regarding the Northerner. Though I should probably point out that on the prototype, the font used on the stripe to spell out "Northerner" was not in italics
