Shops

Showing of the Dairy build, 1 of 3 little shops to sit next to the hotel. Need to pickup some red paint and finish the Tip Top and Coke signs. This time a side hatch is installed for easy access. The windows are to small but are sized around some picture frames I had, was considering putting security grating on em and a roller garage style front door. While im at it maybe 3d print security cameras, PIR sensors and alarm box with flashing light.

Felt bigger when I was being built, but next to the hotel it feels small

Next building will feature 2 shops with large windows thanks to some larger picture frames. I'm thinking a hobby store and barber.

(Johnsonville Units) DM class electric multiple unit

Dad wanted a model of the Johnsonville units as the batch of 6 first appeared in 1938. Difficult to find actual colour pictures except paintings. I found some black and white pics that my AI colourised with the prompt "car body was painted in Royal Blue with a white band along the side below the windows and grey roof." Unsure if its correct or if anyone alive can remember 88 years ago.

Re-modelling progress so far. There should be a cab door on the front and windows need shifting but getting closer. Still no seats but a removable floor/chassis is finally complete. The Pantograph I designed for the 1:24 Ew should fit in nicely.

Alleyvale Hotel

The Hotel is now in position for the first time with dads help, all that wood & paint adds up in weight! Some dodgy flashing on the top should keep it weather proof. 

The plan now is to at least fill the rest of the embankment up with shop fronts
